At Dodon farm horses are accepted for training by the month as space allows. We are able to work horses in the countryside as well as in our outdoor jumping arena, our indoor arena, and our cross-country schooling jumps. While many of our horses progress very quickly in their training, we believe that they can learn only when they are happy and relaxed in their work. All of our training reflects this philosophy.

The cost for training is $1,000 per month. It includes board and five days per week of training. Most riding is done by Steuart Pittman, himself. In cases where a horse is more suited to one of his assistants, Steuart supervises the training closely.

Click here for our Training Agreement (requires Adobe Acrobat).

Owners are welcome to watch as much of their horse's training as they like and can substitue lessons for training sessions.

Dodon Farm is not a boarding facility. Exceptions are made from time to time when a rider and horse are in need of regular instruction.
